Short version: we only collect what we need to run the open call and the radio. We never sell it, and nobody gets it except the services that help us run the thing.
Who we are
RADIO202 is a community radio from Prague. We run this website and the open call.
Questions, requests and complaints: onair@radio202.org.
What we collect
- When you apply: your artist name, e-mail, Instagram handle, keywords, photo, the date and hours you picked, and anything you write in the note.
- When you visit the website: your IP address ends up in the log of our hosting for a short time. We do not use cookies and we do not run analytics.
- When you play on air: we record the broadcast.
Why
- To handle your application, answer you and put you on air – this is the reason we have your name, e-mail and note.
- To announce the show: your name, photo and keywords are published on radio202.org, on our Instagram (as a picture with the date and time) and with the recording on Mixcloud. This is the point of the programme, so you can’t apply without it.
- To tag you: we use your Instagram handle to tag you in our announcement posts. It is not shown on the website.
- To keep an archive: the recording of your show stays on Mixcloud and on radio202.org, together with your name and photo.
Who sees it
Only the people in the radio team, and the services we use to run the radio:
- Google (Sheets, Drive, Gmail) – applications, photos and e-mails.
- Vercel – hosting of this website.
- Dropbox – announcement images and recordings.
- Mixcloud – the archive of broadcasts.
- A server in Germany – the live stream.
Some of these companies are based outside the EU. They handle data for us under the usual EU rules for such transfers.
How long
Applications we don’t accept are kept only as long as we need them to run the open call, and we clear them out once a year. If you play, your name, photo and recording stay in the archive until you ask us to take them down.
Your rights
You can ask us what we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it – including taking your show and photo off the website and out of the archive. Write to onair@radio202.org and we’ll do it.
If you think we are handling your data wrongly, you can complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
